OUR STORY

Vets Haul Junk was established in 2015 after the owner, Joseph Martinez, returned from a combat tour to Afghanistan. Suffering from PTSD related trauma, Joseph’s neighbor asked if he could help move some items. This small ask from his neighbor provided Joseph with such a sense of well-being and pride that he decided to start Vets Haul Junk. He chose to start his business in Stafford, VA, a military town adjacent to Quantico USMC base, so he could begin serving veterans in the area with junk removal services. Soon Joseph discovered he was experiencing relief from his PTSD because of his junk removal services so he began reaching out to other veterans to teach them how to build their own junk removal business. Soon after, other vets began contacting Joseph for franchising opportunities and now, Vets Haul Junk Removal has grown to three locations with another opening soon.
